Artificial Intelligence

The civic association SOZA, representing the rights of authors and publishers in the territory of the Slovak Republic, hereby reserves the rights in the works it represents with respect to any form of text and data mining, in particular for the purpose of training any type of artificial intelligence model. SOZA will grant permission for such use only upon agreement on and payment of appropriate remuneration. This reservation covers in particular, but is not limited to:

• the use of works to create datasets for training artificial intelligence models,
• the inclusion of works in machine learning algorithms and models,
• data storage and processing for research and development purposes in the field of artificial intelligence,
• the generation of new works derived from works represented by SOZA.

We therefore request all users who use works in the manner described above, or in any similar manner, to inform SOZA of their current or planned use of works represented by SOZA and to agree on remuneration for such use, subject to SOZA's terms. The territorial scope of this notice applies worldwide to all works for which SOZA manages collective rights.

This notice shall not under any circumstances be interpreted as implying that SOZA has, prior to the publication of this notice, granted permission for the use of the works it represents in the manner defined above, nor shall it be interpreted as SOZA accepting the application of any copyright exception in relation to such use under applicable legislation. The publication of this notice is primarily preventive and informative, with the aim of protecting the interests of the rightsholders represented by SOZA.
