The civic association SOZA, representing the rights of authors and publishers in the territory of the Slovak Republic, reserves the right to grant permission for any form of data mining, primarily text and data learning related to the works it represents through its members, especially for the purpose of training any type of artificial intelligence model. SOZA can grant the relevant permission only if the remuneration for such use is agreed upon and paid. This right includes in particular, but not exclusively:
- use of works to create datasets for training of artificial intelligence models,
- inclusion of works in machine learning algorithms and models,
- data storage and processing for the purposes of research and development in the field of artificial intelligence,
- creation of new works based on the processing of works represented by SOZA.
We therefore request all users who use the works in the above-mentioned or similar manner to inform SOZA about their realized or planned ways of using the works represented by SOZA and to agree on payment for such use in accordance with SOZA's authorization. The territorial scope of this notice applies worldwide to all works for which SOZA has been entrusted with collective rights management. This notice may not under any circumstances be interpreted as meaning that SOZA, until the time of its adoption, has granted permission and agrees to use the works represented by us in the ways defined above in this notice, nor in a way that SOZA would accept the application of any copyright exception in relation to this use according to the applicable legislation. The publication of this announcement is primarily preventive and informative in order to prevent damage to the interests of the rightsholders represented by SOZA.
