What is compensation for remuneration?

Compensation for remuneration is an internationally acknowledged form of private copying compensation for authors and artists resulting from the European law, reflected in the territory of the Slovak Republic in the wording of the Copyright Act. It is legally defined allowance paid by the manufacturer or importer of recording media and technical devices having the ability to copy subjects of copyright protection, e.g. musical works.

What are my obligations towards SOZA if I import and/or produce blank recording media and technical device?
